Party in Pink

Who does not know someone that has been touch by breast cancer???

After attending a Zumba conference and learned about Party In Pink and the research that can be done to prevent breast cancer I took the initiative to organized  a Zumbathon.  I share the idea  with my students.  They got so excited, which meade me even more excited about it.  in fact, my students got so charged up by the thought of helping out that they found a location and conviced them to donate the space free of charge!  I contact some fellow instructors and every single one of tehm said "yes" when asked to help and participate.

WHIle there are so many groups out there looking for cures and treatments for breast cancer, it is as my mother used to say "prevention is the best medicine."  Why should not we invest as much (or more) time, money and effort into preventing this horrible disease and its devastating cosequences in the first place?  That is why I think this couse is unique and worth all the ffort that we can put into it.

My inspiration is the cause itself and my motivation was and continues to be my enthusiastic students!
