- My name is Lesley Marnitz. I am from Durban, South Africa. My age is 52 I am an ex teacher who was retrenched 10 years back. I have 3 children. I was in an abusive marriage and got divorced to give my children a better upbringing. They are mostly independent and have moved on with their live. I was born with a heart murmur. After my downtrend of my life I had to start doing massages to earn a keep. Most of the time I had to keep my clients happy for whatever it takes. In 2018 I had a mild stroke, where I had to slow down. Last year in March I was involved in a hit and run. I had mild injuries and had a head injury. Not realising what after effects I got. I was a very clear minded person. Had a great memory, now I suffer from a cloudy memory and my right retina has detached. Making my vision partial and cloudy. Also at times its double vision. I'm very unstable on my feet. So walking anywhere is prohibited. Now as our country has gone into lock down I am not financially prepared for it. I am struggling to survive. Friends have helped me. However they are struggling to survive as well. I will offer my prayers who will donate and visit this page. I am putting myself out there hoping my story gets out there.
