Paris-Croatia Solo Cycling Marathon

Hello everybody,

My name is Sime from Sali, Dugi otok and i am going for cycling marathon trip from Paris to Zadar (Croatia) in hope to collect funds for a charity organization "Kolajna ljubavi". This is an experienced organization with long-lasting experience of assisting the most prominent in Croatia and Tanzania. All the funds collected will be spend to buy food, medicine and other basic necessities in these two countries to provide help to children and families that need help the most. On Saturday 18th i am cycling from center of Ireland to Rosslare where i am catching evening ferry to Cherbourg and then train to Paris the following day. Will be there for few days mostly sightseeing and then starting a 2 days cycling journey to Lyon. One day sightseeing and then over the Alps, through Torin, Milan,Verona towards Triglav, through Ljubljana, Zagreb and then towards Croatian coast and finally Zadar. The trip should take aprox. 2 weeks with around 2000 km of journey ahead. I ll try to record as much as i can with camera, both of the ride and towns that i pass through and will make a small video at the end just as a memento of the event. Now, there are possible alterations to the original plan of course, because after all, this is an adventure and its really hard to predict all the events that are to come. One thing is for sure and that is that there is no giving up unless something really serious happens...which i hope it wont :)

I have to admit that i haven't been involved much in charity work ...definitely not as much as i could ve been. Its for sure i would find a really good explanation for it but the truth is,..well, its just easier to look the other way. Hope that will change in the future and i hope to collect at least something for these people that are actually making world a better place.
