I have been a Paramedic my entire working life. I have worked in remote and hostile environments in the Middle East. I was also deployed to Sierra Leone in 2015 during their Ebola outbreak.
The remote medical industry, in which I work, has changed. The skill set of medics operating in these remote areas has also changed. This has resulted in my medical qualifications needing upgrading, in order for me to continue making a difference.
To be considered for these important roles, I would need to attend an Offshore Medics course, which, unfortunately, is not offered in my country of South Africa. I would need to travel to the UK in order to attend the course.
I would need financial assistance to attend the course, covering travel and accommodation while training in the UK.
Please consider donating to assist me in returning to do what I am so passionate about: making a difference to the lives of people in remote areas, who are so desperately in need of our aid. No amount is too small and I will be grateful for any assistance.
