China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone's pilot program on parallel imports of cars, which allows dealers to purchase cars directly from abroad, has evoked good response and is likely to be extended to more areas, officials said on Monday.
The retail price of some luxury cars in USA is only 70,000 USD while in China is 200,000 which is almost three times difference.
China government policy support parallel import of cars to China, Our business will focus on import those model from USA to China.
The two major models we will focus is Mercedes Benz GLS class and Maserati Levante which we already have a reliable dealer in USA for sourcing the cars and sell the cars to us. We also have our own company in China to watch out the market demand and accept per order and post order for the cars. We have a very close partner which have the parallel import license in China.
