Save a life; Save a Dad

Hi family and friends. Our dear friend Miko or Miguel Medenceles Jr was diagnosed with Large B Cell Lymphoma last July 2021. It is a type of cancer that grows usually on lymph nodes. He had difficulty of breathing and his chest pressure increases every time he bends and lifts heavy objects so he went to have it checked. His chest X-ray results showed signs of density on his anterior mediastinal area.

Miko has had a series of operations (biopsies). He started his first chemotherapy session last 12th of August. So far he has undergone 7 sessions and he needs 1 more depending on the progress of the tumor plus radiation.

We are creating this fundraiser to ask for financial support to help cover the many costs - cancer treatment, including medical expenses, lost wages, living expenses, and comfort items. Miko, his wife and 2 daughters have been doing their best to keep their life as normal as possible, but with Miko and his numerous sessions and appointments, it is impossible. They have now gone from a two income household to one. As you can imagine the medical bills are pouring in.

Miko's wife is splitting her time with taking care of him with their two daughters at home. Miko is the prime example of a good father, husband, son, friend and hard working man. The next months are going to be rough, but we are grateful that Miko has a treatment plan in place. We all can’t wait to put this all behind and move on to bigger in better things in a healthy life!
