While writting this, me and my mother are in Philippine General Hospital, Ward 550-6. We are in the pay ward instead of charity since the case of my father(63 yrs old) was emergency and he needed an immediate operation. He was admitted last June 4, 2018.
He always tells us that he feel bloated, got stomach pain, always constipated and we noticed that his weight drops a lot.
The doctor conducted all necessary laboratories like MRI, colonoscopy and a lot more!
After a week of laboratories, he went to a major operation on his colon and gal bladder. The doctors removed a big part of his colon since it has 7 big holes where a finger can pass through the colon and suspected malignant tumors. They also got 3 suspected malignant tumor on his gal bladder, the doctor told us that there are still remaining polyps at his colon and gal bladder and he might be cleared if he will undergo to chemotheraphy by August. But he need to pass his operation fiŕst. This operation must be successful first with no complications or anything before proceeding to chemo.
By the way this is the second time my father had problem on his colon, the first one was around 25 years ago and it was early stage of cancer while now as per doctor advise and suspected his cancer in colon and gal bladder is on stage 4.
We just got the Pathology report from the samples of tumors and we have not talk to doctor yet. We are hoping that his cancer is curable.
Currently he has two colonoscopy bag and operation in his stomach and still we are in PGH. We are raising money for the payment of his hospital bills & doctors fee, medicines, chemo theraphy, next operation after chemo (need to attached the big and small intestine).
I am enclosing his photos, current hospital bills, pathology report, clinical abstract.
Maybe you are also wondering why his face has plaster in his nose, he also had Squamous Cell Carcinoma or skin and nose cancer Stage 3 last 15 years ago. That is why my father is battling on his 3rd cancer. My mother is also diabetic and have some health issues that is why we are facing financial problems.
I want my father to live longer and we love him so much, we are asking for your help, every cent counts for us and please message me if you have any questions.
UPDATE: as of JULY 27, 2018
Sorry for not updating you since I've been busy lately, and thinking to discontinue to raise funds since we cannot get any feedback since I made this campaigne.
But decided to pursue and I hope some people can read this or atleast we can inspire people with the same situtation.
After 2 weeks of operation we got a good news, instead of cancer of the colon stage 4, the final result from his laboratories was chronic tbuberculosis of the intestine. So it is curable, atleast 6 months. After the tuberculosis will completely healed, he will go to another operation to connect his small and large intestine.
So far, he is recovering a little bit, he eats few anount of foods atleast every 3-4 hrs, so he will replace the food he released in his colobag. He is taking different meds for tuberculosis, and different kind of vitamins. Also drink his Ensure milk.
Our major expenses for now is his milk and colobag, for medicine, it's not a big problem because it cost only 400 per week after his senior citizen we need to sustain this for 6 months so he will be completely recovered.
Thank you so much
