Paolo’s Stem Cell Treatment

My godson Paolo has Cerebral Palsy. He was born a healthy, tiny, beautiful baby boy until he got an infection from the very same hospital he was born in. The other babies who were born in that same hospital on during that time did not make it. From the very start, my godson has been a fighter. I initially wanted to set up a fundraising to be able to bring him to Disneyland in Hongkong for his 10th birthday. Recently, I learned that there is a treatment facility in Bangkok that provides stem cell treatment to patients with CP. The treatment costs around $15,000. The rest of your donations would cover the day-to-day expenses while Paolo is undergoing treatment, which would last about 2 weeks to a month.

Paolo is a very bright young man that is held back by his physical challenges, his mom, a single parent would do anything to see her son be able to walk, talk, run around and enjoy life like any normal kid would. Raising a special needs child in the Philippines is very expensive and I admire Paolo's mom for being brave and for pushing forward despite the difficulties. She tries to remain strong to be able to provide for his everyday care. As with others who are in the same situation, medical emergencies often come up suddenly and frequently. How she does it, I can only guess.

A bright young man, with a beautiful goofy smile, who has spent his first 10 years in a wheelchair, be given a chance to run around and experience life like everybody around him.
