Pam’s Universal Orlando Resort Fund

I am setting up this "GoGetFunding " for Pam Padgett with the goal of sending Pam and her family to Universal Orlando Resort, where she and her family will enjoy a very much needed family vacation. Please read Pam's story below:

"In June 2016, I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. I am undergoing treatment and so far all is well. While my disease is not curable, it hopefully will be controllable. My time on earth has been shortened significantly and I am hoping to create as many lasting memories as possible with my 3 children and my husband."

What Pam did not mention is that the cancer has spread through her bones and at first, she was not given but a few months to live. Thankfully, with the assistance of a target-therapy drug, she is hopeful of spending more quality time with her family. As you can imagine, this treatment is very expensive. Yes, she has insurance, but there is still a lot of out of pocket expenses.

Pam started working for Eagle County School District in 1995 and she has held a few different positions. She has been a Librarian at Red Hill Elementary since 2001. Pam has also worked at the District Library for 7 years.

Pam is a hard working woman/wife/mom, who has given so much of herself to our community, mostly involving our youth. Please help by giving back to her. She didn't ask me to do this fundraiser for her. I approached her. I'd like for this fund to go directly to helping Pam and her family plan a Family Trip to Universal Orlando Resort, a place where she said she'd love to visit with her family. I don't want her to feel like this money needs to go towards the medical bills. She is back at work and doing her part to try to keep up with the medical-financial stress. I want her to "enjoy" this money to the fullest.
