Pam is a loving wife and mother of 3 boys Ben (5), Matt (3) and Nick (1). Pam's cancer has came back. She had back pain that was persistent and when it resulted in her not being able to walk and creating numbness in her legs she went to the ER. They found a tumor in her back and had to do emergency surgery. The first surgery was just extensive back surgery so she could regain feeling in her legs. She had a second surgery to remove the tumor and the number 10 bone replacing it with titanium rods. She is now in extensive rehab to learn how to walk again and this will continue for months in addition to more radiation and chemo.

She wants nothing more than to be a loving mother and watch her kids grow old. Unfortunately, life had different plans for her and her family. Earlier in 2013 her husband Bang, age 43, was diagnosed with LYMPHOMA CANCER. He went through 6 chemo treatments and is still waiting to find out whether he needs more radiation or not. Tragedy struck again when Pam, age 33, got diagnosed with BREAST CANCER.

It all began last Christmas when Bang came down with flu like symptoms. A month past by but his coughing and other flu like symptoms did not subside. Few weeks later he received a chest x-ray which showed a 5 inch tumor in front of his chest cavity. The biopsy confirmed their first nightmare – he was diagnosed with LYMPHOMA CANCER. They will be facing an open heart surgery as he had too much fluid around his heart which could cause a heart attack.

Six months into Bang’s treatment, Pam discovered a little lump on her right breast which she thought was a benign cyst. At a young age of 33, Pam had already been to several doctor visits due to the birth of her kids. Pam takes her good health seriously: eats well, exercises and well check visits. The diagnosis came as a complete shock to their family and friends.

The cyst biopsy confirmed that it was a MUCH bigger problem than they had imagined. They really didn’t think that life would be so unfair to them that both Bang and Pam would get diagnosed with CANCER within a year of each other. Furthermore, surgeons found out that they have to do a full mastectomy on the right breast.

Pam is a strong educated woman. Since the two diagnoses, a day does not pass by that they fear for their lives and the future of their children.

For the past year they have been dealing with medical expenses that they incurred for Bang’s treatments. With additional expenses on the horizon for both Pam and Bang, any financial support would mean us taking a bit of burden off their shoulders.

We all know that insurance can only cover so much, you can all imagine the kind of financial toll this can take on Pam and her family. Ultimately this presents major hurdles to her overall well-being and recuperation. As friends of Pam and Bang, we are asking you to donate. Every donation counts, as every penny will go in to a savings fund that will be there to help them defray the medical expenses. We also encourage you to share this fundraising initiative on social media websites. You can find our Facebook page here.

Many fundraising efforts have no clear way of telling you where your money is going. With Pam and Bang’s Cancer Fund, 100% of the donation will be placed in a savings account towards their treatment. Even if you cannot donate, please help by spreading the word.

Together we can provide comfort for Pam and Bang’s family in this trying year. Please consider a donation for our beloved friends Pam and Bang. Anything is appreciated in helping us reach our goal of $10,000 and help their fight against CANCER.

This amazing support system will help give Pam and her family the strength to deal with the emotional and financial challenges ahead. Once again, thank you all for your support and please keep Pam, Bang and their family in your thoughts and prayers.
