The Women's Association for Charitable Work has been in existence since 2007 and has 60 women members. The association’s work focuses on supporting women, providing the opportunity to make food products, sewing or embroidery, and providing a way to sell them, which creates additional income for some families.

We are a group of volunteers in the Women’s Association for Charitable Work and the Beit Ummar Cooperative Society in Beit Ummar Hebron. Recently, with the war, many people are in need of help, as many of them have lost a family member through arrest or murder.

The association generally works to support women, children, people with special needs, the elderly, the sick, poor families, and student support.

We always work to serve all groups according to the ability and type of assistance available, and here we ask for help to continue supporting people in this difficult period.

The funds that will be raised will mainly be:

To purchase medicines and supplies for patients, the elderly, and people with disabilities in the town.

Secondly, purchasing and supporting poor families to purchase basic food supplies and winter clothes.

Also helping students to complete their educational path and pay university fees, as many students are unable to pay university fees due to other priorities in these circumstances.

Due to the current circumstances in Palestine, many websites related to Palestine may be blocked, but despite this, we continue to help people and provide everyone with the opportunity to help the Palestinian people.

In an update on the donations campaign at the Beit Ummar Cooperative Society for Food Processing and the Women’s Association for Charitable Work, Beit Ummar, we would like to detail the funds obtained until February 12, 2024:

1- $1,200 was divided among eight poor families for those below the poverty line who have infants and have no income.

2- $800. Medicines such as insulin needles, diabetes test strips, and blood pressure medications were purchased and distributed to many diabetes and blood pressure patients.

3- $700 was distributed to two students as a contribution to paying university tuition to continue studying in the second semester of the 2023-2024 season.

4- $460. Food meals were prepared in the Beit Ummar Cooperative Society for Food Processing and distributed to more than 75 Palestinian families in the town of Beit Ummar and the Arroub refugee camp. The cost of one meal ranges from 22-28 shekels ($6-7).

Here we thank all the supporters of this campaign and hope that the giving will continue to cover the largest possible number of people living in the region in light of these difficult circumstances, the continuation of the war, the increase in unemployment, and the accumulation of unemployment.

We hope that you will spread the campaign with your acquaintances and enable it to reach a larger number of donors, to provide the opportunity for all who wish to help and be part of this cooperative work and give hope to many families.
