Campaign Story
Many Filipinos are reeling from the impact of Typhoon Ulysses as it struck Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon last Wednesday night, November 11. One of the hard-hit areas was Marikina City where the Marikina River water level rose to over 21 meters causing all homes nearby to be washed out, causing hundreds of families left with no shelter.
These families are now temporarily taking shelter in evacuation centers across the city and being left with almost nothing, they need our help more than ever.
Our chosen beneficiaries are the evacuated families in Paradise Lower Malanday, Marikina many of whom have children aged 1-3 yrs. old. We would like to raise funds to purchase their basic needs such as food, drinking water, and diapers.
Here are some photos of the current damages in Paradise Lower Malanday, Marikina.
While the floods have already subsided, many homes in the city are still buried in mud and trash.
If you're unable to donate, you can still help us out by sharing our page with your family and friends so that we can reach more people.
Any amount or in-kind dontions you can give will certainly go a long way.
Thank you and stay safe!
