Rasshid N Syed originally from Karachi, Pakistan, living in Dubai since 1998. As a result of the current global economic crash. Rasshid and his wife’s construction business in the United Arab Emirates suffered greatly. Due of the economy as of now, payments are stuck and bills keep piling up, failure to make payments for rent, failure to pay suppliers and his 3 children’s tuition fees has unfortunately resulted in 4 civil cases against him, as per UAE law. This has also resulted in a travel ban, not allowing him to leave the country.

Consequently, Rasshid has been diagnosed with liver cancer in October of 2019, it’s been 4 months of him trying to get better through natural remedies and his wife working hard to put the money together to pay off all dues in order to travel back to their hometown, Karachi Pakistan, in order to seek medical attention. On 10 January 2020, in addition to his liver cancer (enlarged lymph nodes), he is now suffering from serious condition known as jaundice. We, his family, have tried our best to start his treatment here in Dubai. But after talking to doctors back in Pakistan, and his family, we are hoping that we get to send him to Karachi, Pakistan.

Rasshid’s wife (Shaista) is also suffering from a stomach tumor, recently diagnosed in late December of 2019 *attached photo*.

Rasshid and his family of 5, 2 daughters and 1 son are asking for your help in order to release’s their father’s 4 civil cases, and his passport so he can travel to Karachi with his wife as soon as possible in order to seek treatment.

We, his family, are issuing this appeal and have set up a GoFundMe account for Rasshid. We hope to raise enough money for him to release his civil cases and passport, for him to travel to Karachi. We would greatly appreciate any help you can offer Rasshid and your generosity will not go unnoticed.

Thank You.
