Campaign Story
Dear all,
The Painted Dog TV team are thrilled to announce that we have been invited by the Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT), a Painted Dog TV conservation partner, and Lapalala Wilderness to be part of an exciting project.
EWT and Lapalala Wilderness recently rescued a free-roaming pack of endangered painted dogs after they entered into an area populated by humans, which immediately put the dog’s lives at risk. Not unlike the Melita pack of painted dogs our supporters were a part of rescuing earlier in the year.
The EWT/Lapalala pack have been successfully moved into a large enclosure/boma on Lapalala Wilderness, where they will be held for a few months to allow them to settle into the area and their new safe home.
Painted Dog TV has been asked by EWT and Lapalala Wilderness to install live-streaming cameras near the rescued dog’s den site. Our aim here is not only to provide viewers with unique sighting opportunities, but also to raise public awareness of the plight faced by Africa’s endangered painted dogs, as well as the amazing work EWT and others, such as Lapalala Wilderness, are doing to help save the species.
But to be able to do this, we please need your help. We need to raise close to $2,000 for the required camera and broadcasting equipment.
In return for your generosity you will receive a series of high quality digital photos of both the Lapaplala and the Melita packs of painted dogs. The live camera feeds will also be available for the public for free on Painted Dog TV’s YouTube channel and elsewhere. We may even be able to catch the birth of the pregnant female, live!
Please note that Painted Dog TV is not an NGO, so donations cannot be treated as such for tax purposes.
From Brent and everyone else at Painted Dog TV,
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Hi, I can not even tell you how much I´ve learned about wildlife in the past three years since I first discovered WE, now also following Painted Dog TV. I changed my initial travel plans, saved money, went to South Africa and experienced the first safari in my life. I was told by our guide that we were extremely lucky to be able to see wild dogs two days in a row. Don´t think I understood at that point. I am rambling now but thanks to you and the team for all of the hard work and the education you provide. THANK YOU! Love and best wishes from Anneli T, Sweden.

Incredible cause and I am happy to contribute to help raise awareness for Painted Dogs. They are incredible animals and deserve everything we can do to help them survive and thrive.
