Q: What is an Aerosol Box?

A: The Aerosol Box is a transparent cube made of acrylic or polycarbonate that covers a patient's head during endotracheal intubation. (https://focustaiwan.tw/society/202003220009)

Q: Why is it called an “enhanced” Aerosol Box?

A: Dr. Lai Hsein-Yung designed the Aerosol Box as an improvised protective gear for Taiwan hospitals; however we applied modifications based on comments from Philippine doctors who approached us and evaluated the initial design.

Q: I think other suppliers can make it cheaper and faster?

A: We don't intend to compete through mass production. Our methodology also differ from other makers; we use a bender machine (operated manually) to bend sides to produce a sturdier box. Our boxes are done with utmost dedication after we finish our own work assignments too and we are only 3 in our team.

Q: Is it for sale?

A: No, we produce the “enhanced” Aerosol Box with the intent of donating it to hospitals who would be needing it.
