During the first week of November 2018, the largest fire in 200 years raged through the Western regions of Southern Africa. Pachamama Forest Retreat was in the path of this momentous fire and has subsequently suffered a massive setback. If we act now, we can prevent the aggressive regrowth of invasive trees and continue our vision of re-foresting the land. Creating a living Firebreak along the watercourse.
By managing the invasive trees correctly, we aim to transform the land with flourishing, indigenous trees planted on your behalf as part of the reward for donating to our cause (as well as a few other amazing perks).
We need to raise this money urgently to replenish the funds we used for new fire-fighting equipment and tool maintenance, fuel, food and airtime, spent during the 6 day fire period; and to purchase equipment necessary to fight future fires and employ the staff needed to assist with the clearing of invasive trees now sprouting in the burned zones, as well as clearing firebreaks to protect the land and structures in the future. Contributions will be used to spur the Forest Fingers Project of planting an Indigenous firebreak corridor in Kraaibosch.
It is here that we kindly and humbly intend to tap into your generosity. Your help is needed for the further development of the Pachamama Forestation Project.
Thank you for you support and please share this campaign with anyone you feel may be interested in supporting our vision of a new indigenous Pachamama Forest.

Restoring indigenous forests is good for the soul, and doing things that are good for the soul is what money's for, so if you have a little extra do a good thing, for yourself and the planet!

In 2017 I spent several weeks with the Pachamama community, and I co-facilitated a Sounds Good Retreat with Nixiwaka and Txarani, that involved the power of vibration and intention. They welcomed me with gracious warmth and loving-kindness! To all of those who support sustainable living, I highly encourage you to donate to the restoration and strengthening of this community. Check out my memoirs on my site...this sight won't let me leave it here, so you will have to be a sleuth to find it...hint...my name is the site address. Blessings of Light, Restoration, Peace and Beauty to you ALL, Lisamarie McGrath
