Own business to take care of daughter with epilepsy

US$0.00raised of $30,000.00 goal goal
My family is raising money for the start up costs of becoming entrepreneurs. My daughter has severe epilepsy (Jeavons Syndrome) that is medication resistant and I have had to go on FMLA and miss a lot of work in order to take care of her. Starting our own business would allow us to keep her with us and take care of her all the time while still working and bringing in an income that we need to pay our mortgage and medical bills. I am a veteran, currently working in law enforcement and am the sole provider as my wife had to give up her law enforcement career to take care of our daughter's condition. We also have 3 other children, 1 of which has a gastrointestinal condition, and 1 foster child. We plan to open a store when we have enough operating capital. The business plan is there, the funding for follow through is not. A donation would help us with the costs to get business licenses and articles of incorporation filed with the city and state to legally start a business. Also to purchase a small initial stock of product to begin selling, which is the most expensive part of the process. We are considering options for rewarding those who donate at certain levels (not equity) but haven't gotten that all ironed out yet. Thank you for considering donating to help us.
