OUTSiDE EYES is releasing our first record!
I've been writing songs for over 15 years but have yet to release a proper album. Cemetery Bells, the first EP with my band Outside Eyes, is almost finished. It's recorded. It's mixed. It's mastered. There's even album art. Now it's time to press some records!
While on tour in 2014, my bandmates Rachel Crowley (drums), Joshua Lennon (bass), and I (guitar, keys, vocals) made a handful of live recordings at Dry Liver in Tucson, AZ. Back in Philadelphia with the help of Todd Erk (lead guitar) and his new Sparkle Bones Studios, four of these tracks have been carefully, lovingly completed. It has been a long time coming and I am extremely excited to finally have this released and pressed on vinyl!
There have been a lot of cooks in this kitchen, but I assure you, no soup spoiled. I'm asking for the help of my community to make this crucial, final step a reality. Consider it a pre-order.
Thank you for the years of support.
Check out the title track!
Special thanks to a few more cooks; Andrew Colberg and Ryen Eggleston at Dry Liver in Tucson, Craig Hendrix at Agave Recording Co. in Philadelphia, as well as Jarmel Reitz, Andy Black, Tommy Bendel, Jaron Olevsky, and Ryan Schwabe.
