Our Wedding – 12 years Later

Adam and I met when we were 15. Two very different people on two very different journeys. Me from a poor family with 4 children, him an only child with loving attentive mother. We somehow became good friends, but never dated. We would talk for hours about all kinds of things, including the all the wrong guys I was dating. When we both fell on hard times in 2010, I needed a roomate, and he needed a room. We moved in together to live as roomates. Day in and day out we slowly developed a nice family type setting. I have a 5 year old daughter that has always just adored him! Needless to say, we quickly fell in love, and were inseperable... ALL 3 of us!! Now, here we are, 2012, and we are engaged and preparing to get married in 2013! He quit his job so that I didnt have to pay child care, and he has taken on the roll of stay-at-home dad, while also attending school full-time. I am working full-time at a local hospital, and also a substitute teacher in a local childcare network. We are hoping to receive a little bit of assistance from this website, and be able to have the (budget) wedding of our dreams!

We spend a lot of our time volunteering, fundraising, and come with many great references as to our philanthropic character, our half dozen fund raisers we do for charity every year, and our amazing love for eachother!
