Our Volunteer Trip to Africa

Hello everyone,

my name is Isabelle and I've decided to volunteer for a childcare programme in Tanzania, Africa.

I hope to teach basic maths and English to children who are underpriveledged, and hopefully to make a small contribution towards their future.

I have organised this trip through the ivhq programme, and I will be put in a team of other young professionals who wish to make a difference.

I am funding the trip myself as it's my choice to do this, and I don't expect to be reimbursed. If you feel inspired by what my team and I are trying to do, and you wish to donate anything at all then please do, because anything will help towards making this trip possible.

No one gets to choose where they are born, and unfortunately, the amount of money you have determines the level of education you receive. If you have a low level of education, then your future will always be restricted. These children are extremely eager to learn - they just need the opportunity presented to them. Let's try and give them that opportunity together!
