We are needing help for all required preparations for our 10 vocal ensemble with a narrator and 2 crew members to Sing! The Toronto Vocal Arts Festival leaving on the 20th of May 2019.
Mzansi Music Ensemble, "a developing group", performed at the Market Theatre, Johannesburg Theatre, Soweto Theatre, State Pretoria Theatre, PE Nelson Mandela Theatre, Durban Playhouse to name a few, in between the years 2015 and 2016 and observed positive media interactions about these performances that led the Ensemble to take part to the popular international Scotland’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe in the last year.
And coming back from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe August 2018 where they performed the Mandela Centenary Celebrations, with no doubt, the Ensemble labelled its integrity with the buzz it projected as it left the audiences spell bound from the repertoire that it presented to not only international crowds but also to the local media channels.
The Edinburgh tour earned the Ensemble an invitation to the Canadian Sing! Toronto Vocal Arts Festival, May 2019.
This project continues to positively paint South Africa musically in the world, and I therefore implore you to truly consider supporting this project in every way that you can – this is something that South Africa needs.
