So the story goes like this, I met the love of my life (Finally) and we decided to get married on September 4th 2020, everything was going fine, but the pandemic hit, i lost my job, I was working at the Vilnius International airport as a baggage lost and found agent, and suddenly the pandemic hit, flights were canceled and my boss said that he has to let me go and now i'm struggling to do everything to get this wedding done, we wanted to postpone the date of our wedding but we decided to never give up and try something, but it's hard finding a job during this crisis.
About me, i have started my working experience as a bartender for a year, then i wanted to go to sales, and i had my chance as a barista/salesman for a 1.5 year with the Blasercafe brand and quit due to inner work ethics, and 3 months later i got a call from the my employer in Vilnius airport wich had 2 caffee's and 1 restaurant. i worked at Coffee Republic between gate A5 and A6, worked there for 3.5 years, but the rent of the place was over and we had to shut down, it was hard leaving, but just a month later i got a call from the ground handling company n December 31st 2019 and got the job, man its was a dream come true to work. I started chating with Maryna on December 4th 2019 and we fell in love, i proposed to her on February 14th 2020 and she said YES!!!!, some time later on March 10th she flew from Kiev to Vilnius so the we could go to the local Marriage Centre to submit our form so we can get married. but on March 16th Ukraine closed it's borders and denied entry. But luckily on March 19th we received infomation that a special train Riga-Vilnius-Kiev was formed so the the citizens of Ukraine could get home on March 23rd at 00:35, for about 16 hour long ride, oh man i was hesitant to let her go, but i did, and from that day we are separated and hoping one day everything will settle and we will see each other again.
As of now i'm without a job, and i'm looking for now as of the day i lost my job, the aviation is starting to wind up but my company isn't calling me, not yet at least.
My Fiance, her name is Maryna she is 25 years old and she is from Ukraine And I'm from Lithuania my name is Tomas i'm 28 years old. Mainly the money will go for the documents and the wedding rings wich don't cost cheap, after we got married we will go the local immigration office to sumbit the the documents for the temporary residence permit wich costs around 120 euro just to submit, and for them to review it and if you want it done faster pay double that. The permit itself costs 80 euros and double that if you want it done faster.
For the honeymoon, i think that we will rent a room in Pervalka, (it's in Lithuania, near Klaipėda city) for a week, or more don't know yet with the Covid situation in the world so it's hard to tell :(
