Campaign Story
If you are browsing thru facebook for cool videos and funny posts, please know that we are very happy that you are able to do so. At the same moment, our family is struggling to do the things we used to do and we now need every help we can get.
We are sad to inform all of you that our loving mother, Corazon Bambase, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic LEUKEMIA for adults- a cancer of the blood which affects normal blood counts, which can be fatal if left untreated. Please know that this disease is treatable, but definitely not without your prayers and help. Currently, she’s being treated and staying in a hospital in Manila.
Before diagnosis, my mother used to be a common sight inside Calauan Laguna’s palengke selling hotdogs, tocino, frozen chicken, and a lot of other things. Expect that she would give you some discounts! She is a wonderful mother and biyenan! I remember when she was given the “Best Mother Award” during my elementary graduation ceremony as she used to always come to school daily just to bring our lunchboxes. When we had already our own families, she then used to take care of her two pretty grandbabies. When she was diagnosed, she could no longer do her business anymore and could not carry her two grandbabies. She also lost more than 10 kgs of weight up to date as the disease affected her appetite for food.
We are knocking on everyone’s heart to help us fund for our mother’s treatment which are expected to be millions of pesos (i.e blood transfusions, hospital bills, and even a bone marrow transplant). If you are a son or a daughter, I am sure you will understand our feelings currently and that you know you will do everything for your mother. We’re continually using up our family’s savings and my mom’s treatment will still have a long way to go (years). Any amount will equally be appreciated. Even a hundred pesos can help! A hundred of my friends will yield P10,000 already, which is equal to 10bags of blood already - extending my mother’s life. Any amount from the heart will be greatly appreciated.
We would remember everyone who would help us in our journey and we know we owe you our mother’s life. Please do not remain anonymous so we can thank you personally. We will never ever forget your generosity. Thank you very much and God bless everyone!
