We are Kind People – a relief fund.

The workKind People is funded solely by public donations. Your support is vital if we want to change the lives of animals. Your gift today - whatever amount you choose - will help us save the animals from suffering and provide them with the necessary treatment and care.

The animal shelter is NOT a state-owned shelter. We are able to save animals only from the financial help we get from kind-hearted individuals. At the shelter, there is a large animal care center with rooms for disabled dogs, and Burgas’ first and only cat shelter. We have a training ground and a reputable professional dog handler. There are also open-air cages and a veterinary unit.

Every day, we receive knocked-down and battered cats and dogs from all over the city. Our veterinary unit doesn't have the necessary equipment to handle the animals. Because of this, we are forced to first look for a vehicle to get to the nearest equipped vet clinic. After getting a car, we spend at least another hour in traffic jams. As a result, we lose some precious time on the road and are not always able to save the animal's life. At the moment, we can only offer droppers, injections and surgery.

Unfortunately, our scalpels and clamps are out-dated; they are no longer suitable. Replacing them is very long overdue. We don't at all have money at the animal shelter for such purchases. But without these tools, all our work will come to a standstill.
