We met in in college in Indiana. It was second semester of my sophomore year and her junior year. We were both majoring in theatre. She is from Vermont and I am from Colorado. We both shared a lot of the same passions (mainly outdoor pursuits and art) we dated for the rest of college, after her graduation we continued a long distance relationship. She moved to Chicago. while I continued school. After I graduated that summer I worked a summer job in the Northwest and she got a job at a theatre in Colorado. After the summer was over we ended up getting an apartment together in Denver. The next summer we both got jobs at the same Company in a small Colorado town. It was that summer we hiked up a 14,000 foot peak and I proposed to her at the top, her answer was yes!
After being engaged for 5 years we have finally set a date, this coming October. It is interesting how similar we are and also our families. Both of our mothers work in the public schools while our fathers are construction contractors. Unfortunately because of this we have

Location Set!
Update posted by We Ry at 08:53 amWe have finally decided on a location. After much debate and thinking we have settled on Bue Lake Ranch. It is a gorgous location especially in the fall with all the willow trees.
