Our Nanay’s (lola) fight against Covid-19

We are in dire need for our lola’s hospital bills.

My Nanay Ligaya had her second attack of stroke and has been hospitalised last August 31, 2020. Our Nanay has a pre-existing heart condition that her hearts beating is irregular that caused a lot of blood clots in her brain. Nanay is also diabetic and has hypertension. She was tested for Covid-19 and result came out positive which could also be the trigger of the stroke. We don't know where she got the virus because Nanay never go out. Hours gone by when she was hospitalised, her condition worsen which made the Doctos put her into ventilator/intubated and been sedated. Now, Nanay is in the isolation room— alone, and battling for her life.

Due to the current situation of Covid-19 and wherein most hospitals has reached full capacity in the Philippines especially in Metro Manila where we are residing, MMC (Makati Medical Center) is the only hospital that accepted our lola in their emergency department. Unfortunately, MMC is a private hospital and we are not capable of paying her running hospital bills.

My Nanay’s hospitalization has really put a toll on us— mentally, emotionally and financially. Our combined resources as a family will not be enough to finance my Nanay’s rising hospital bills. That is why i implore for your help. NO AMOUNT IS LITTLE - great amount starts from small ones.
