This is our most important transport operation, ever.
After hurricane Irma and Maria devastated our island, All Sato Rescue has more than 500 animals in our care in need of transportation to the Northeast to find new homes. As a foster-based rescue, our foster homes are flooded and damaged, yet our volunteers are still providing care to animals in need. With limited food, drinking water and power, it is the most critical time to fly our animals to safety and adoptive homes.
This Sunday, October 8th, we have the opportunity to fly out 211 of our 500+ animals to our partner shelters in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine via Mission Miracle private charter plane. Mission Miracle is generously donating their time but the cost of fuel for this one trip is $80,000. In partnership with our Northeast partners Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland (Westbrook, Maine), Buddy Dog Humane Society (Sudbury, Mass.), Cape Ann Animal Aid (Gloucester, Mass.), Coastal Humane Society(Brunswick, Maine), Humane Society for Greater Nashua(Nashua, NH), Humane Society Waterville Area (Waterville, Maine), and Sterling Animal Shelter (Sterling, Mass.), we will successfully save the lives of 200 pets in dire need.
Please help us in this life-saving mission, and our future transports for the 300+ animals remaining in our care. NO DONATION IS TOO SMALL.
