Our little story

I've met the man of my dreams and I've never been happier!

Here is our story. (You can skip it if you don't feel like reading.)

I was working in an insurance company and one day a client walked in the office. She needed a car insurance. She then asked for a favour, something that would've taken me some time and it wasn't really my job, but she was friendly and I couldn't really say no to her. So I ran a few calls, send a few emails and while we were waiting for the results, I offered her coffee.

We then started to talk, she was telling me about her job, asking about mine. It was a friendly small talk. I helped her with what she needed, she thank me and then left.

Needless to say, she then became a regular client.

Few months passed by and when it was time for her payment, I called her to inform her that in two weeks, she needs to pay her car insurance.

But then... I got fired.

Two days after that I already had a new job, again for an insurance company. And when she called me for the payment, I informed her that I no longer work there, but she can still make the payment in the new company that I worked for. She agreed, telling me that it's not the company that made her go there, but me and what I did for her that first day.

She came to my new office, I offered her coffee again. She wanted to know why I got fired, how I was doing. And then she suddenly told me that she has a friend that she really thinks I would like. Her words were "You really going to him, I have the feeling that you're just the right girl for him."

I never took that seriously. Besides, I was under a lot of pressure, lost my job just before Christmas, my mom was without a job at that time and we're all alone. I was paying a rent and my mom was living in a town far from mine. I had no money to go spend the holidays with her, so we were both spending Christmas alone.

So I told the woman, that I'm not looking for a relationship right now. We continued talking and she asked me where am I going to spend my holidays, so I told her that I'll probably work late and then go home, because I'll be tired. She got really sad that I'm going to be all alone on Christmas Eve and she invited me to spend it with her. She had a daughter and they both were going to her parents house.

I didn't really know the woman and I was kind of scared to go with her, but I was also lonely and I didn't want to be alone, so I said yes.

It turned out that her parents house was close to my place and I started feeling a bit more comfortable about the whole situation. Her parents were amazing, lovely people. They welcomed me right the way and made everything to insure that I feel at home. I was really having a good time and then a guy showed.

She introduced me and told me that this is the man, she was telling me about. He was quite attractive but also quite shy, didn't talk much and was also nervous. Then I found out that she was telling him about me as well, but he also never wanted to meet, because ( I found out later) he was just out of an 8 years unhealhty relationship.

The hours passed, we talked and laugh, I was feeling much better because I was no longer alone and these people were really nice to me. When it was time to leave, she offered the guy to walk me home, because it was 2 blocks away and no taxi would take me there. He agreed, she gave him no choice. I was kind of nervous, but he was even more, so that made me feel better. We didn't talk much, we both were really shy. He walked me to my place and wished me goodnight.

I went home happy.

Few days after, she called and asked me out for tea. Of course, he was there again. We both didn't know that the other was coming. And then the next day we went out again. And then again. We were having fun and I was feeling like I have found new friends. I also liked the guy but I was too afraid to say something or do anything. He was too shy as well, so I was starting to think that he's just not into me and we're just going to be friends.

But then one day, she called me for a walk, the whole town was covered with snow and it was beautiful. We were going to meet in a park, close to my place, grab a hot cup of tea and walk her dog. When I got there, he was already waiting... Alone. She called me and told me that she's going to be late, so we won't wait for her.

That day he finally asked for my phone. We had an amazing (set up) date. While we were walking it started to get really cold, so he huged me. He walked me home and I turned to look him in the eyes, he stood there for a second, then smiled at me, leaned down and kissed my cheek. And then he wished me a goodnight and left.

That was the moment I fell in love with this man and every morning since that day, I wake up and I fall in love with him again.

So know we are thinking about getting married. He told me one day that he want me to have a wedding and beautiful ring before we have a child, but I know that we can't afford that.

We can only rely on each other, we're all we have (plus our beautiful dog Sunny).

And I know that it's making him really sad that he cannot afford to buy me a ring and make wedding, even though we both work really hard, but the money are never enough. Especially when we have to help both our families.

So I want to give him that. I want to give him myself and my love, that is all I have. To tell him that I will always be there for him and that I will love him, cherish him and support him every single day, for the rest of my life.

And now I know the time has come, because besides me, our dog Sunny and him, we're going to have another member for our family. And I really want to surprise him, he doesn't know yet.

I would really love it if someone could help me get the perfect present for him - My love forever, as his wife.
