Our Little Fighter

The purpose of this campaign is to help my son Dean Asher to prolong his life. We were excited to meet our little one, but apparently no one was more excited than he was. Last June 29, 2018, I had to deliver our first baby boy via normal delivery at 27 weeks only and weighing 830 grams only. He is considered as a premature baby since he was 27 weeks old when I gave birth to him and in a fragile state and needs specialized care. According to his Neonatologist, he is expected to stay in Neonatal Care Intensive Unit at Emilio Aguinaldo College Medical Center – Cavite for more than 3 months and he needs to weigh at least 2 Kgs before they can remove him from incubator. We love him so much and we know that he is fighting to keep alive, that’s why we will do all what we can do to help him. As of the moment he is being intubated, receiving 2 cardiac drugs every 49 hrs, insulin for his sugar, 3 blood transfusion was done, and suspected to have a bleeding in his brain because of the lump in his head .We are spending more than 10,000 pesos per day to prolong his life (incubator, machines, medicines, oxygen tank, laboratories and supplies). His Neonatologist explained to us that since he is a premature baby his internal organs like his lungs and heart are not yet fully developed. That is why he needs to incubate and supported with hospital apparatus. Unfortunately, we can’t produce 10,000 pesos a day on our own. We are knocking in your kind heart to please help us to save our little angel and let him experience the beauty of life.
