Our little angel battling Encephalocele

Hello everyone.

This is our little one Rosabella Rae Nakar. She is now 9 months old and is a precious bundle of joy. She was diagnosed with ventriculitis secondary to leaking encephalocele, which is a condition where a sac-like protrusion of the brain happens when the neural tube does not close completely during pregnancy. We try to cover it up as much as we can to lessen her discomfort every time she tries to tilt her head.

As of the moment, the only way she can live a better life is to undergo risky operation to remove the encephalocele. It's the only way she can live a better life.

We plan to raise Php 250,000 to cover her lab exams, scans and the operation. And because of the on going pandemic, it is harder for our family to raise the needed funds, since both my partner and I currently are jobless. We have been in the hospital for almost 2 months since she was admitted due to a seizure caused by the infection from her leaking encephalocele last October, which almost cost her life. She is now scheduled for operation 2nd week of February and we are hoping for a successful procedure, and to be able to raise enough funds before we can leave the hospital.
