A few years ago, our friend Pascal was diagnosed with cancer. Since then, there have been months, weeks and days of hope, but also sometimes of despair, for Pascal, his wife Ramia whom he met when he was posted as a diplomat in Syria, and for their three young children. Although Pascal has been through surgery, treatment and therapies during all these years, in the last six months things have become increasingly serious and it is hard to say what the future will bring.
While Pascal is presently weak and in a lot of pain, he is also very concerned about the well-being of his family. Ramia is unemployed, and Pascal has been on partial sick leave for a long time. Given the insecure housing situation in Stockholm, the family has now decided to move to Linköping, Pascal’s old hometown, where they will hopefully find some stability to build their lives on.
Financially, the setbacks have taken their toll, and we hope that everyone who cares about Pascal and his family will be willing to chip in to help with moving costs and expenses to settle in the new home. We are sure this will mean a lot for Pascal, as it would enable him to go through these extremely difficult times free of the additional burden of financial hardship.
We have set up this site on behalf of Pascal and his family, and the collected funds will be transferred to them on a weekly basis.
To everyone reading, sharing and donating, thank you so much.
