Our family to yours

I'm Natalie and my partners name is David.   Together we are raising two boys aged 10 and 3 and money is very tight right now. I recently discovered I have been the victim of identity theft and bank fraud.  Over $20,000 was taken in the form of forged checks.  The perpetrator of this crime was someone I knew. The theft occurred from a checking account in which only military paychecks were being deposited.   Although, this is a clear case of forgery the bank is not willing to refund any of the money that was taken as the forged checks are more than 60 days old.  Any restitution that may be provided will most like take years to be paid back as the culprit is facing several felony counts.  This case isn't set to go to trial for months and my family is struggling financially.  

Our family is the type of family that will open our home to anyone and share the little we have with others.  Our extended family although loving have personal struggles of their own and are not capable to assist us financially.  My partner works 60/hr work weeks and I am a returning student as of this fall.

We appreciate any donations at this time as we are fighting to pay bills like mortgage payments and putting food on the table.  Although there is a lot of preventative measures for identity theft there aren't immediate resources to recover financially.  Please donate and bring awareness to the project.  The financial recovery process of identity theft is difficult and slow.  Lets change this!
