Our Brother’s Fight

This is for our beloved brother Cresente “Cres” Arbolente. We are hoping that families, relatives and friends can support his road to recovery.

My brother has been diagnosed of Stage 4 Liver cancer and had four operations due to rupture of his veins connected to his liver. He has been under monitor and goes through monthly check up and takes costly maintenance medicines. Since he’s already on a censorious stage of his condition, anytime he would need to undergo an operation if in case one of his veins ruptures. He was just confined at Chong Hua Hospital, Cebu City last February 17 because of a vein rupture and needed to perform an immediate operation to prevent and constrict internal bleeding. He is the head provider of his family and due to his condition he’s not able to work as a seafarer as he used to be. Thus, his family is going through financial difficulty to keep up with his medications. Our family and with the help of relatives and friends were able to support his medical needs but due to successive confinements and operations together with his expensive maintenance medicines, the family’s resources has been used up. Our best chance is right now is a liver transplant but the cost of this operation is humongous that we need your help.

We need your help. Our brother needs your help. He continues to fight despite the pains and financial difficulty he’s going through. We are also doing our best to keep up with the medical care he needs. This isn’t just his fight but our family’s fight. We believe that if we work together we can get through this sooner.
