Ravi needs your help!!!

Dear friends,

Our youngest brother Ravi (Ravi Firdaus) is not doing too well. He was first admitted into the Besut District Hospital in Malaysia for leptospirosis (rat urine infection) and then referred to the Kuala Terengganu Hospital for a toe infection that was discovered by the medical officers in Besut District Hospital.They had to move him as there was no orthopaedic specialist at that hospital.

He has had an operation in August (2018) to amputate 2 of his toes and part of his left foot as a result of the toe infection, which was a complication due to his diabetes. Due to the leptospirosis, his kidneys have been affected and are currently failing (at stage 4, one step away from dialysis). He subsequently has had another toe amputated in September (2018) next to the ones already removed.

Because of the events above, he has lost his job and is in dire need of funds to support his medical bills and daily upkeep. Currently, he requires RM11,300 per month (SGD3,745.00) (USD2,720.00) (the breakdown is as follows):

• Medical bills, wound dressing and consultation
• Living expenses
• Transport (for medical check-ups and wound dressing)

We have started this page to ask for help for Ravi to ease his financial burden. We, his sisters are not financially in the position to fully support him every month. We sincerely seek your help and compassion in assisting us to take care of our brother Ravi till May 2019. We are unsure at this stage what further medical treatment Ravi will need based on further investigations by the attending Consultants here in Kuala Lumpur.
