Our belated honeymoon

Hello, my name is Lizzie and my husbands name is Chucky. I wanted to start this fund because when we got married we were struggling with bills, we had just lost my husbands grandmother, my grandfather and a man who after my father passed was like a father to me and we had no time or money to take a honeymoon. We didn't have a lavish wedding either. We took the day off work and got married at the courthouse for a small intimate ceremony with my mother and 5 friends and their family members. Our plan is to raise enough money so that we can go visit my dad's biological father who has recently suffered a mild stroke and my husband can meet him and some of my dads brothers family if we can raise the money. The money we raise will be used for a rental car to drive to louisiana from maryland, gas for said rental car, 1 weeks stay at a campground, food and to cover my husbands lost wages for the trip.
