Two powerful explosions took place on Tuesday August 4th leaving more than 300,000 Lebanese citizens without shelters including a major collapse of structural walls and roofs of houses and serious damage in house structure . That blast wave leveled buildings near the port and caused extensive damage over much of the rest of the capital, which is home to two million people.

The damage rocked an already fragile Beirut that already suffered from a dreadful economic crisis and covid 19 backlashes.

OSAS (the Lebanese Organization for Safety And Sustainability) moved rapidly to step up its emergency response plan by sending its team of experts/engineers to assess the affected areas taking into account the required Safety Measures. At OSAS, we are doing our best to support the affected areas by conducting assessments and rehabilitation works related to Electrical, Safety and MEP.

Please show your support for OSAS and donate today to allow us to continue our important work in the community.
