Support us to rebuild Al Osama Private Kindergarten and nursery after it was bombed. Together, we can keep it a safe haven to fulfill the dreams and aspirations of the children of Gaza.

About us:

Al-Osama Private Kindergarten was established since 2010, and it continues despite the difficulties and challenges it faces from the blockade, the economic crisis, and living without any political stability.

Al Osama Private Kindergarten for Children in Palestine, Gaza, operates under the harsh conditions of Gaza City from wars, blockades and a major economic crisis to help educate children and play with them to create an atmosphere of fun in light of the difficult conditions that children in Gaza live through.

As a part of our social responsibilities, the kindergarten offers many financial support and assistance for parents and children who are unable to pay fees for their children and provide clothes and books for them, so they can continue to learn and play despite the harsh conditions they are going through

Target Ages:

(4-3 years), (5-4 years), Pre-school (6-5 years) and (from two months old)

Our Services:

Al Osama Kindergarten is in a continuous endeavor to provide everything children need in different age stages to prepare them for school. Many methodologies are used to teach them through active education and paly based learning to facilitate the learning process for children in a fun atmosphere.

Among the most important services and programs offered by Al Osama Private Kindergarten for children are the following:

●Arabic language program in Al-Nooraniya base methodology.

●Advanced English Program

●Math

●Science and Arts

●Quran memorization

●French language

●Sports activities

●After-class activities

●Trips and parties

●Psychological support and comprehensive medical examination

●Montessori programs for life skills and etiquette.

Kindergarten workers:

The total number of workers in our kindergarten is 8 female employees, between the Kindergarten Principal, 5 teachers, a social worker and janitor.

Kindergarten capacity:

Al-Osama Private kindergarten works in the West area of Gaza, which is considered one of the most densely populated areas that suffer from high unemployment and a deteriorating economic situation. Under these circumstances, Al-Osama Private Kindergarten tries to accommodate the children of the area and at the same time create enough space for each of them to learn and play within the standards of learning and safe play.

The kindergarten has a capacity for 120 children, but as a result of the kindergarten’s destruction and reduction of the total number of classes, the kindergarten is able to only accommodate 60 children now.

Our challenge:

The challenges the kindergarten faces can be divided into two parts:

General challenge:

This is a continues challenge resulted from the continuous danger that Gaza strip facing as a result from the continues tense political situation, a continuous blockage for more than 15 years, and humanitarian crises that have been affected the lives of civilians and a deteriorated psychosocial situation especially for the children.

Kindergarten challenge:

As a result of the last escalation in Gaza on November 2019, Al-Osama Private Kindergarten was directly affected as it was subjected to direct shelling, which resulted in significant material damage. As a result, we closed the Kindergarten for 5 days to secure the place and ensure the safety of the children. On the other hand, two of the kindergarten classes were closed because they were severely damaged. This resulted in reducing the number of children in our kindergarten by half. The damage also affected children's playground, which deprived the children of their games. (Attached photos of the kindergarten damage)

And because the kindergarten is a private project and not subject to any funding whose primary goal is to serve the community and support the humanitarian situation experienced by Gaza residents. It was our social duty to seek to completely restore the kindergarten and provide services to children and re-enroll the full capacity of 120 children. From here, we strive with every effort to provide the necessary support to serve the community and children.

عمال رياض الأطفال:

العدد الإجمالي للعاملين في رياض الأطفال لدينا هو 8 موظفات ، بين مديرة رياض الأطفال ، 5 معلمات ، أخصائية اجتماعية وبواب.

قدرة رياض الأطفال:

تعمل روضة الأسامة الخاصة في المنطقة الغربية من غزة ، والتي تعد واحدة من أكثر المناطق كثافة بالسكان والتي تعاني من ارتفاع معدلات البطالة وتدهور الوضع الاقتصادي. في ظل هذه الظروف ، تحاول روضة الأسامة الخاصة استيعاب أطفال المنطقة وفي نفس الوقت توفير مساحة كافية لكل منهم للتعلم واللعب ضمن معايير التعلم واللعب الآمن.

تتسع رياض الأطفال لـ 120 طفلاً ، لكن نتيجة لتدمير رياض الأطفال وتخفيض العدد الإجمالي للفصول ، لا يمكن لرياض الأطفال استيعاب 60 طفلًا الآن فقط.

تحدينا:

يمكن تقسيم التحديات التي تواجه رياض الأطفال إلى قسمين:

التحدي العام:

هذا تحد مستمر ناتج عن الخطر المستمر الذي يواجهه قطاع غزة نتيجة استمرار الوضع السياسي المتوتر ، والحصار المستمر لأكثر من 15 عامًا ، والأزمات الإنسانية التي أثرت على حياة المدنيين وتدهور الوضع النفسي الاجتماعي خاصة للأطفال.

نتيجة للتصعيد الأخير في غزة في نوفمبر 2019 ، تأثرت روضة الأسامة الخاصة بشكل مباشر لأنها تعرضت لقصف مباشر ، مما أدى إلى أضرار مادية كبيرة. ونتيجة لذلك ، أغلقنا رياض الأطفال لمدة 5 أيام لتأمين المكان وضمان سلامة الأطفال. من ناحية أخرى ، تم إغلاق اثنين من فصول رياض الأطفال لأنهم تضرروا بشدة. وقد أدى ذلك إلى تقليل عدد الأطفال في رياض الأطفال لدينا بمقدار النصف. أثرت الأضرار أيضا ملعب للأطفال ، والتي حرمت الأطفال من ألعابهم. ولأن روضة الأطفال هي مشروع خاص ولا تخضع لأي تمويل هدفه الأساسي هو خدمة المجتمع ودعم الوضع الإنساني الذي يعيشه سكان غزة. لقد كان من واجبنا الاجتماعي السعي إلى استعادة رياض الأطفال بالكامل وتقديم الخدمات للأطفال وإعادة تسجيل القدرة الكاملة لـ 120 طفلاً. من هنا ، نسعى جاهدين بكل جهد ممكن لتوفير الدعم اللازم لخدمة المجتمع والأطفال.
