Orphaned Elephants

After watching a TV program on taking in orphaned elephants, I want nothing more than to help them too! Elephants apparently have a phenomenal memory. Many are left behind as their parents are killed for their ivory tusks, and the little ones suffer from trauma the rest of their lives! Some even die from too much stress and anxiety. These babies are in need of physical touch, soothing voices, and baths in their natural habitat! There are many organizations in Thailand that take in volunteers all year round to help raise these baby elephants. Although it's inexpensive to stay at the camp for a week ($400), it's quite expensive to fly to Thailand ($2,000). Please help me out in any way you can! I am a graduate student who doesn't have a plethora of money around, but would love to volunteer for such a unique cause! Thank you in advance for anything you're willing to donate
