Orly’s Stage 4 Cancer Battle

I am setting up this fundraising account for my dear friend and classmate Orlov Dela Cruz.

He has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 colon and liver cancer. He is just 38 years old. He has gone through a successful surgery for the mass in his colon and the next recourse would be chemotherapy and targeted medicines. The family needs to raise at least 1.6 Million Pesos ($35,500 USD).

Orly is the breadwinner for his wife and 11-year-old daughter and has since stopped working. He has a small business that provides food on the table, but it’s not enough to sustain his medical treatment. He doesn't have medical insurance in the Philippines so were counting on financial assistance from family and friends to continue his chemotherapy. It would mean so much to him and his family if you can help us reach this goal and continue with the required chemotherapy sessions, cover miscellaneous medical bills and drugs.

Orly's always been a favorite among our group of friends because he is a very cheerful and helpful person. Even now as he faces this challenge, I am amazed how he has remained so positive and resilient. Now its our turn to reach out to him when he needs our help most.

This fundraiser will surely go a long way in helping him recover from his illness as well as living his day to day life.
