Organizada: Taking rock star bloggers to the next level

About this project I'm a natural-born organizer. Project management is in my blood, but it was a series of life changes that turned my minor obsession into a career path.   In September 2010, I found myself in a life situation that could have gotten out of control very quickly: I had recently become a mother, I started a blog, and became a caregiver to my mother who had been diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma. Blogging was a great outlet to my creativity, but with all of those life events, the need to keep things organized so life could run smoothly was an absolute necessity. Plus, the project manager in me couldn't just take the risk of "let's just see what happens." I quickly received accolades as one of Latina Magazine’s top Bloggers to Know in 2014 and Latina Magazine’s top 10 Mommy bloggers in 2013,) which brought even more focus on the site. With more notoriety comes more work, and I knew that I had to get my business in order so I could be more productive. The birth of Organizada came about when writing a post in 2014 about getting and staying organized using Microsoft Office 365, for which, full-disclosure, I am a Champion/Blog Ambassador. One thing led to another, and before I knew it I’d created the footprint for Organizada. The extra downloads and organizational tools came naturally as supplements to the main organizer, all focused squarely on helping bloggers keep the main aspects of their businesses contained and running smoothly: editorial calendar, financials, planning, brainstorming, metrics, and reporting.   Organizada is now poised to come from my musings about organization and into the hands of those that work online but still like traditional paper and pen to plan their business lives. It's a planning tool that allows you to keep every aspect of your blogging life on target down to the hour of the day. The elephant first came to the 'hood as part of my logo. It signified the protection that elephants give their young and the fact that they are such caring parents. Also, they can get tough when need be.The elephant on the planner? Well, that's because elephants are so good at remembering things and it just seemed to go right along with the purpose of this planner.  All funds raised through this campaign will be used for the production, manufacturing, marketing and shipping of the organizers to the clients who need them. Risks and challenges A printer has already been selected for this project, and they are prepared to begin production as soon as they receive final approval. Printing challenges cannot be predicted, but potential issues have been mitigated in order to ensure this project is launched with minimal impact to the client.   Transparency is of the utmost importance.
