Organic Gardening and Nursery

There are no good quality Nursery or Organic Farming businesses around my hometown area of Cross City, Florida.

I left Cross City back in 1990 then joined the Army. Now I'm a single Father and have now returned to my hometown and want start up an Organic Nursery/Farming business. I see a niche here that needs to be filled. Nearly all plants fruits and vegitables that are purchased/consumed come from either a Super Wal-Mart in another county or the local grocery store, which are rarely fresh.

The reason I need the $9,000 is to help pay for all the materials I need to build a 1,000 sq ft greenhouse, irrigation, build up my inventory of different size pots, inventory of plants that I will use for seeding and cuttings, purchase of a small tractor for land maintenance.  My son Jared (17 yrs old) and I will be the operators. We hope to have this operation up and running before December 2013 so we will have enough time to get all our spring plants rooted and growing strong.

Our goal is to make this a family operation that will last for decades. We will serve 3 counties at a minimum.
