Campaign Story
I have heard about fund raising before - never thought I'd be the one to actually put pen to paper. Life sometimes has unpredictable surprises that are sent your way.
I got married 3 years ago, which was the best thing I have ever done - what a beautiful man! Even though the last two years of our three year marriage has been hospital stays and doctor's visits, his still here - walking beside me and sometimes carrying me along the way.
My mother said from the beginning that no matter what, should we be a match, that she would be my organ donor. I have had Renal Failure for about 14 years. I am on the organ transplant list now, awaiting a chance to receive that gift of life. Meanwhile our medical bills keep piling up & it's one of those things that you just can't get ahead of - not without support anyway.
We don't always realize how much of a difference we can make in someone's life, even if it's just minuet, it may actually change a life.
