Help me to share my knowledge in primatology with future generations - before the extinction of Orang Utans in Indonesia!
The last Orang Utans of Indonesia need us NOW - I have a project prepared and need YOUR every help
Dear friends, fellow animal experts and lovers of wildlife,
At this point, all of us are well aware of how critical the situation of the last surviving Sumatran and Bornean Orangutans in Indonesia and worldwide is.
Neither they nor I have the time to talk around it - which is why I have spent the last months preparing a realistic project here in the north of Sumatra based on my extensive and life-long experience as a primatologist:
An internationally recognized School of Ethology situated on the ideal spot right in the Leuser National Park of Sumatra, where wildlife specialists and researchers from all over the world can share their knowledge with future generations. This alone would not be enough, which is why it is completed by an on-site Orang Utan rehabilitation and release center.
I am proud to tell you that The School of Ethology & Orang Utan Rehabilitation Center can already count with the land and licenses necessary to start construction, and the main building has already been built.
This is how far I have gotten, and from here I need your help:
To be able to set up a professional fundraising campaign that will reach hearts worldwide, I urgently need:
1. An assistant with a background or at least a deep interest in animal wildlife. Fundraising knowledge and technology-savvy (we will need to film and edit short videos, might build a new website and use social networks to reach people) are a must.
2. A fund of $ 5,000 to cover the completion of the fundraising campaign (elaborate a new website, costs to cover the recording and editing of 2 simple but professional videos, accomodation for the assistant and administrative costs).
Some forms of collaboration mentioned in 2) might also be carried out from a distance, any help and means suggested will be warmly welcomed!
