I am Trizia from Manila, Philippines and an ailurophile.

Sometime last August 2016, my grandmother spotted a stray cat inside our house. At first, we did not have any plan of having a pet. I guess it was a destiny because no matter what she did for the cat to leave us, it's still coming back several times. We decided to have it adopted (no formal paper but that is it). We provide food, water and shelter. One of my nephews named the cat as Ba-et (short for mabait, meaning kind).

We eventually found out that it is a female cat. Since Ba-et is a stray cat, she is prone to go outdoors and attract male felines. To make the story short, she got pregnant and gave birth many times. We mostly gave the kittens to some neighbors.

We only kept one kitty and we named him as Kulet (short for makulit, meaning mischievous or hyper) for her not to be depressed very much.

I heard a lot of positive feedbacks about spaying and neutering and I would like my cats to undergo such procedures. I believe this will help to lessen overpopulated cats which become strays. In addition, I do not want them to get harmed and for them to stay more inside the house.

There was an incident where Ba-et was still pregnant. She mostly stayed outdoors because she did not want to see Kulet. I do not know if because Kulet is a male or something like it. We found out that someone poured her a boiling water. I do not have an idea why it was done to her.

On the other hand, Kulet mostly got a wound at the back of his left ear. I guess it is because of fighting to other male cats.

I am currently employed, however, I was unable to save a money for the said procedures. I am still spending some of my money for my medicine.

I hope that this will knock your hearts as I really love my cats. They are like my real babies. Thank you.
