US$100.00raised of $30,000.00 goal goal
To put it simply, I put myself through college in order to provide myself with a better future. As a student in school I didn't think attending college was possible for me because I came from a poor family. Once I graduated from high school I was left to fend for myself and started working. I first began taking community college courses while working. Then, after years of inching along through the process I decided to go all in and just finish my undergraduate degree. This past Spring I obtained my master's degree in education. I am not a materialistic person. I buy discount clothes, take second hand items, drive the same beat up (but very reliable) car I've had for years, and the only time I spend without thought is when my students need supplies or for the kiddo. I am a very responsible and socially conscious person. However, over the course of my education I've had to take out student loans and am now seeking help with their repayment. I am a teacher in a low income area and the amount is a little overwhelming. Anyone willing to assist with my cause is appreciated.
