Protect A Girls Image is an Organization that champions for the rights of children to receive proper nutrition, shelter, clothing, education and emotional support. Today, we seek to raise funds to help our 40 children (Beneficiaries) get back to School in January 2020.

We operate in Kirinyaga County, Kangai Village - Kenya, where we have our Rescue Center. Most Families in this community are not financially able to educate and train their children to the capacity we believe is needed to raise World leaders and Innovators. According to a recent survey carried out by IPSOS Public Affairs, nearly half of Kenyan Households earn less than $100 a month while 2% have completely no source of income.

We believe that by educating our children, we will better our communities, create jobs, decrease malnutrition, reduce child marriage and change the World! We help children from very poor families by giving them School Kits so that they will attend school with Dignity and Joy.

Here is a breakdown of our School Kit

1) School Fees --- $80 Per Child.

2) A School Bag --- $5 Per Child.

3) A Dozen of Exercise Books --- $10 Per Child.

4) A Dozen of Pens --- $3 Per Child.

We are Focusing on the Power of $100 for each Boy and Girl. Your $100 has the Power to pay for all the Utilities needed to access quality education within the First Semester in School.

We have been able to pay for School Fees and Uniform for Marion Whikale who is going to her Second year in High School. She had to deal with the emotional stress of her father who she really idolized leaving their family for another woman. Her mother, Teresiah Waruguru had to step up as the sole bread winner. Marion could not join the School she had been accepted to despite her good grades.

Like any other first born, she was worried about her mother’s emotional state, being unemployed and her capabilities of providing for the family, let alone pay for a Boarding School. Marion therefore settled to attend a Day School near home since it was cheaper and she could look out for her mother. The School is way below her potential since she is very bright and proactive.

Teresiah ( Marion's mother) is a high school drop-out and so it has been difficult for her to land a job with a stable income. She has resorted to doing casual jobs like doing laundry, vending food like chapattis and mandazis on the streets, and any other casual job she can do just to put food on the table.

We were able to Raise $150 for her School Kit Last year.

Having Raised more money for Food, Shoes and Clothes for our Children in November this Year, We are looking for at least 40 People to Donate $100 so that we can achieve our goal to send all our 40 Children to School in January 2020. However, Gifts of any Amount are Greatly Appreciated.

If you Believe that Education is the Key to Unlock the Golden door of Freedom from Poverty, Please Help Keep our 40 Children in School by Donating to Our Cause!!

Every Dollar will Count and will be accounted for. Thank You in Advance!!
