Operation for Chippers Cataracts

Hello everyone, Chipper is a 3-year old brown lab. I've had him since he was a puppy. He's a really friendly playful dog, who loves to play with his toys and his cat friend Prince. 2 weeks ago Chipper was diagnosed with diabetes. Our vet told us that with dietary control and daily injections of insulin we can regulate Chippers condition, and he can live a pretty "normal" life.  Our vet also told us to visit an ophthalmologist, and he told us Chipper has cataracts. If we don't do anything about this, Chipper might go blind in a year. The cost for the operation is 1600 € for each eye. So we need 3200 €, I can use my savings (400€) and my family chipped in (400€) as well. I just want my dog to live a happy life, even with the diabetes, but I just hope he doesn't go blind. So if you can donate something, no matter how much, Chipper would be able to see the rest of his life! Thank you
