Operation: College

Hello!

My name is Gabriela, I'm 19 years old and I NEED to finish my education!

I graduated from highschool in 2011 with a 3.9 GPA and honors from faculty. I was involved in many activities and did very well on standardized tests in an effort to get into my dream school, and most importantly, GET SCHOLARSHIPS! I knew from a very young age that I would be responsible for my education, and that includes the multiple $$$ attached. Through my hard work, I got into my dream school! I was thrilled and made plans to attend in the fall. Unofrtuantely, no matter what I did, how hard I worked, I could not get enough money to attend. I signed up at my local community college, and I have saved a TON of money in doing so. I am happy that I was able to save this money, but at the same time, I want to attend a university. 

This spring (2013) I will be graduating with my associate of arts degree with emphasis in psychology! I have a 4.0 GPA, and now it is time for me to transfer! I want to attend either Denver University or Colorado Christian University. Both of these colleges are wonderful, but also VERY expensive. I receive some financial aid and have saved up money, but I am still short by about $1,000.

HOW THIS HELPS:

I do not come from the most financially stable home. I grew up in a single parent household, and my mom has always worked at least two jobs. We usually can keep up with basic bills, but she is not able to contribute at all to my education. I also work two jobs and have saved up quite a bit, I just need a little bit of help. It is my goal to end my undergraduate education with less than $15,000 in student loans. With your help I believe that I can achieve this!
