I rescued Brynn, or Little Brynndog as he is affectionately known, 4 years ago from a local dog pound where he was due to be euthanised. I normally only assist in the re-homing of Akitas but this little cross breed stole my heart! I was hoping to be able to rehome him but no one ever came and he has been with me on long term foster ever since.

Brynn was diagnosed with a huge tumour earlier on this year, blocking his nasal passages and restricting his breathing. Having spent thousands already just to reach this diagnosis, he now potentially needs major surgery to remove the tumour. Brynn has never been insured and has no rescue back-up as I never thought he would be with me for so long! But now I cant let him go and I am unable to get him insured with this condition, or to get any financial help towards his treatment.

My funds are running dry to help him, so here I am, asking for help from my friends so I can finally help Brynn to breathe again.

Currently, Brynn can't go for walks or get over excited as when he does, his blood vessels dialate, causing massive bleeds from his nose. He has severe bouts of difficulty in breathing and has, on more than one occassion, blacked out. He finds it hard to sleep and is constantly waking himself up by rasping for breath from his throat. All I want is to give him his quality of life back so he can be a normal dog again.

I have been quoted around £800 by the specialists to carry out a biopsy to see if surgery will be the best option or if radiotherapy may help to shrink the tumour. It will also determine if the tumour is cancerous or not, although feelings are that it is not as there is no spread currently and his health has not deteriorated. So this is Brynns first financial milestone which we are aiming to raise so his treatment can start.

Thank You for reading Little Brynndogs plea x
