Operation and Treatment of Mrs. Maribel Carmen P. Barredo

Last February 2018, we discovered a lump on the left side of my Mom's breast. Due to financial restrictions, we refused to see the doctors and get medication. But as days passed, the lump continued to grow in size and it began to go unnoticed and even uncomfortable for her.

Came December of the same year, my Mom had pneumonia which leads to Tuberculosis. Per the Doctors, we need to cure her TB for 6 months before we can proceed to lump on her breast. Thankful that the TB dots are free for 6 months from the charity ward of the Hospital.

End of January of 2020, my mom discovered that there is a wound and blood was discharged on the left side of her breast. We decided to see the doctor and they suggest to do Laboratory Tests for Bone Scan, Chest X-Ray, Liver Ultrasound, Mammogram, and Breast Ultrasound. We got the result last Feb 17, 2020, based on the reading by the Doctors, my mom has Stage 3B Breast Cancer and need to monitor if the lump started to scatter all over her internal organs. The doctor advised my mother to undergo chemotherapy as soon as possible to prevent the cancer cells to spread.

Amidst everything, my Mom is continuously fighting her way against cancer. Besides prayers, I am humbly and fervently asking for any financial assistance your kind hearts could provide our family to pay my Mom's chemotherapy and treatment. Any amount would be of great help as we get back to our feet and fight for my Mom's life.
